Eric Mueffelmann moved to Colorado after graduating from St. Michael’s College in Vermont in 1991. He first started his journey in Steamboat Springs, but soon found himself on the more challenging ski slopes of Telluride. Throughout Eric’s high school and college years he found himself working as a painter. His love of skiing brought him to Colorado, and he continued to work in the painting industry. After a short break in the Denver/Boulder area where he established EM Fine Finishes, LLC in 2001, Eric came back to his true home, Telluride in 2003.

Eric has since developed a reputation for providing high end finishes in the Telluride area. He has worked independently and with many Telluride contractors on new development and remodels both interior and exterior using high quality finishes and has honed his craft and focus over the last six years.

EM Fine Finishes uses only the highest grade paint and finishes available. Frequently used products come from Benjamin Moore Paints, Modern Masters Venetian Plaster, and Fine Paints of Europe .
